Now the publisher has responded on Battlegrounds Mobile India’s first open e-sport tournament.
During the announcement of BGMI, the South Korean company announced the exclusive tournament. This tournament will be exclusively for Indian users. The company has fulfilled its promise and announced the first open-for-all e-sport tournament. Whose name is Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021. The developers have released the logo of the upcoming tournament by posting a video on the official handles and YouTube channels.

At the end of the video, more information is said to come on July 15. It expected that the company can share information like prize pool, format and schedule on July 15. Krafton has shown the roadmap for the Battlegrounds Mobile India e-Sport at the launch party. Detailed information about this will come out on July 15. Earlier, the developers released the teaser of the BGMI tournament on 7 July.
Prize Pool of Battleground Mobile India Series 2021 ( Expected )
The Battleground Mobile India Series 2021 tournament is the third edition of the PUBG Mobile India series. Team SouL won the first edition of the tournament in 2019, marking the beginning of the bloom esports scene in India. TSM-Entity was the winner of the second edition.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 is reported to have a huge prize pool of 1 Crore. 50 lakh will given to the winner of the tournament. Here is the prize distribution of the tournament:
The tournament will be open to all formats. Any player who has reached the Platinum Tier or higher can enter the tournament and take a shot at the prize. There will be multiple qualifier rounds. The first in-game qualifier will start on August 2, 2021. The tournament will last for about 2 months with the Grand Finals scheduled in October.
Recently, the launch party tournament has concluded. In which Team Snacks won the event and took home Rs 3,30,000. During the event, Krafton announced that the esports road map for Battlegrounds Mobile India will revealed on July 15 following the BGMI 1.5 update.
